Aithérios Press is an independent micro-press dedicated to dark psychological fiction, weird realism, and structural unease. We are interested in original stories that explore the fault lines where ordinary life meets the uncanny, systemic obsession, and psychological survival.
We Do NOT Accept:
Stories that glorify, celebrate, or condone pedophilia, stories involving bestiality, stories generated by AI.————————What We Are Looking For:
Genres: Dark psychological fiction, weird fiction, literary horror, uncanny realism, and speculative novellas.Length: We primarily publish novellas and short-to-mid-length fiction (approx. 25,000 to 50,000 words).Tone: Cerebral, atmospheric, psychologically dense, and structurally unique. We love stories that lean into the uncomfortable.————————How to Submit:
Format: Please submit your manuscript as a PDF, formatted in a clean, legible 12pt font (double-spaced).Pitch / Synopsis: In the body of your email, include a brief synopsis of the work in 12pt font, and a short author bio in the body of your email.Simultaneous Submissions: Allowed, but please notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere. Please do NOT submit work that has been previously published elsewhere. If excerpts have been previously published, please give the excerpt(s) that were and where they were published.Response Time: We aim to review submissions within [4 to 8 weeks].
